This is a blog dedicated to my work as a DJ/Turntable artist. I have been DJing since 1993 and have been learning, earning and sharing experiences up to this present day. As of now, I consider myself a preserver of the so called art of "Turntabilism" but also an advocate of showing how amazing the art still is and still can be. Enjoy written, visual and audio experiences...

Chinatown Basement Boogie: Sweaterfunk SF
When I was a little kid, my pops used to take me to Chinatown but on the Stockton St. side, where he would buy stanky funky fish to take home and cook. I used to hate going with him and he would lose me on occasion. Forward 20 plus years later and I'm on the Grant St. side playing records with some of the most fun and funky people I've ever met. Listen as Me, John Blunk, Mama Bear and Co. play very tasteful boogie, funk, and soul tunes. Done live, all wax...and an occasional skip.
